Eureka II

Amy Miller + Daniel Cruden

In a new iteration of their Eureka series of works, these artists installed an overflowing bath in an upstairs space, where visitors where invited to bathe, causing rain to fall in the space below.

The Performance Arcade 2012 contributing artists with the work Eureka!, winner of a Bronze award at Designer’s Institute of NZ BEST Awards.
Amy Miller and Dan Cruden worked in the art and costuming department for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit series of films. They are 2009 graduates in Spatial Design from Massey University and have worked in various performance projects since. Their installation work focusses on creating moments of performance within simple routines and architectures, framing the unwitting public as performer.
