MOM

A container full of dirt lies in wait. Every day the is rammed, transformed into rectangular forms by human force. These forms are distributed to create a network of connecting islands. Placement of the individual volumes responds to the site and other performances in the arcade, as seating, barriers, inviting human interaction. The separate volumes of soil spatially connect to create a field above the concrete landscape. This network connects the arcade and the performances within to the public realm.
