Kuki Koori and the Time Flies show

Wellington 2019

Mick Finn, Iain Gordon

For millions of years the surface of the Earth has been in constant motion, with sealevels rising and falling, massive ice sheets roaming over super-continents, and gigantic primeval forests sheltering millions of species. Time Flies is a sneak peek at what may have been, so many years ago, and what may well be, in millions of years to come. A Kuki Koori show where time flies and imagination wheels in a different direction.

An audio visual extravaganza which brings improvised electronic musical performance together with live digital painting, Kuki Koori is the brainchild of Fat Freddy Drop's Iain Gordon (Kuki blaze) and artist and VJ Mick Finn (Koori boy).
Iain Gordon, keyboardist is a co-founder of Fat Freddy's Drop, the Ebb, Bongmaster, the Yoots, and Kuki Koori, and has been performing with Fat Freddy's Drop around the world for the past 16 years.
Mick Finn, visual artist and VJ co-founded Kuki Koori as an experiment in live creation, and along with Kuki Koori he has performed with Rhombus, Olmecha Supreme, the NZ Symphony Orchestra and local DJs.
