STEFROSE is an open-format DJ, who loves nostalgic sounds with a contemporary spin. While their style is “all over the place, much like [their] brain,” a STEFROSE set is guaranteed to get you in your feels. Their gigs encourage audience engagement through sing-along tracks with spicy dance beats. Music influences are ingrained in Stefrose’s Filipino heritage. “I grew up singing for church, karaoke and dancing always at family parties, and I was surrounded by turntablists and break dancers.” STEFROSE has played in Aotearoa for Radioactive, No Mercy, Sector 22, Bassment NZ, Practice Presents, and other music collectives and spaces.
